Here is the new Weldon Henson Video featuring a Song off his new "Texas Made Honky Tonk" CD; Produced by Lloyd Maines.
(Ricky Davis on Pedal Steel)
This Quote from Lloyd Green just came in:
Quote:
"Hi there Ricky,
Just listened to the new Weldon Henson tune “Not The Kind To Hang Around” with you on steel.
Man that is so good; the singing, steel, track and mixing. Tell Henson his singing still moves me. Just the kind of music I used to couldn’t wait to sink my picks into in the studios!
I know you’re proud to be playing on this….I would too!

Cheers,

Lloyd Green"

Featured song from Weldon's newest release "Texas Made Honky Tonk".

“Weldon Henson is the real deal country singer. Great voice”
— Lloyd Green

Simple & True. Weldon Henson is to country music what an ice cold beer is on a “long, hard, hot, day” – refreshing. The first few notes out of his mouth and you know your witnessing the real deal. Henson’s shows are a throw-back to the vintage honky-tonk and Texas culture that brought your grandparents together combined with the rock ‘n roll attitude and approach of the more modern men of Texas country. Prepare to dance to what people think is arguably the best authentic and brand new honky-tonk music Texas has to offer. Or, just sit down for a few, take a deep breath, and enjoy Texas Made Honky Tonk.

Thanks Ricky, I was going to post this but you beat me, and rightly so.

The new CD sounds great and the video about Weldon is great, see you in that alot too. I am ordering the CD and a few others tomorrow, I have one already but need to round out my collection.

Keep up the great playing Ricky!

Well thanks Craig; and since you have to wait for CD; here's a treat for ya to listen to.
This is the greatest Closing song written by Gary Stewart and Dean Dillon; we recorded as last song on the new Texas Made Honky Tonk CD.

Thanks Ricky, It's one of my favorites, big Stewart fan. You guys are killing it!

Only thumbs up for Weldon's rendition of that classic song, and your playing is brilliant. I always loved Steve Palousek's playing on the live at Billy Bob's, but yours is just as good and different enough to keep it fresh and relevant, just hope people get to hear this and wise up to how good it is!

Thanks again Craig; and just like a Mentor always said to me; how every situation a Song has the feel of that day of time....therefore play like you feel it that day.
Thanks Gary for your support....
