I like Pistol Annies, and I am a fan of Ashley Monroe in particular. I had recorded The Tonight Show w/Jimmy Fallon where they made an appearance on November 1, 2018 and finally got around to watching it the other night.
They made a few appearances to support their latest album on New York TV shows, and forumite Jonny Lam got the gig to back them on pedal steel. Nice job Jonny, and if you're reading this I'd love to know how you got the gig!
Couldn't find it on YouTube, but I located the episode on the show's website. After you click on the link below, look for the little white segment mark near the far right on the timeline on the bottom of your screen. That's the 38 minute mark, put you cursor there, this is the beginning of the song.
It's a real country song and I enjoyed it. I also must admit that I re-watched it because I was quite impressed with Miranda Lambert's choice of attire for the appearance.
