the reverb on my nv1000 stopped working changed the cable how do you check the tank?

Divide and conquer... first, turn up the reverb some, then shake the tank... noise? If not, then the pickup/circuit is bad... if OK, then your problem is in the reverb drive. Make sure you don't have it switched off with a footswitch etc. You can ohm the tank transducers... one of them is typically lower than the other, that's the input (driven) side. If one side's open, you need a new tank. Check the cables... make sure the cables aren't reversed. Do you own a voltmeter?

thanks when i hit the top of the amp it boings had the tank out didnt see anything yes i have an ohm meter and volt meter. thanks again.
