Late 86 or 87 would be my guess. If it's a less popular color? The cabinet could have set on a shelf for several years before the guitar was finished.

I sure wish there was a list of Legrande serial numbers and years of build.

It's an Emmons Blue, like a medium to dark blue.

I have a legrande 11 cayman green color which should probably be early 90s or so but my serial# is 475L I am confused also I figured my end plate had been changed at some point @ time!

If you have a serial # 475 LII. The decal has likely been changed. Smile Never known one to sit on the shelf that long. Baring the reissue P/P's. Very common problem. The Lashley LeGrandes were released mid 86 as I remember. Starting around serial # 400. However short body LeGrandes were still available for several years after the release of the Lashley Legrande. Actually, the original Legrande's were available till the parts and short bodies ran out. Also there are a few custom order long body,shorted keyed Lashley Legrandes as well as Legrande II's. Hope this makes sense.
