About a month ago,This Carter D-10 appeared on a local buy and sell site,So I went for a ride the following day and decided to buy it,the next morning I put two new sets of strings then too it to Jon Light for knee lever rearranging and general guru work. This guitar is a keeper.

Carters are nice guitars. I had a D10 and I regret selling it. I thought it had an Emmons-ish ring even though it was all-pull. Smoother player as well.

I don't remember my other Carter staying in tune as well as this one does. After Jon got through with cleaning the changer etc.it played great,I'm gonna have to keep this one.

My '99 Carter D10 stays in tune great. If I have it set up in my music room, it stays almost perfectly in tune. My 2017 Mullen SD12, not so much. On a gig, I usually don't have to mess with tuning after the initial tuning. And it sounds GRRRREEEAAATTTT! (to quote that famous steel player, Tony The Tiger).
