Teddy Lloyd of Richmond, Va., has passed away. Teddy was well known in the country music community in Virginia. He played with The Teenie Chenault band, among others.
There will be a Memorial Celebration of Life in the spring.
R.I.P. Teddy

Oh man, hate to hear this. Didn't see or hear from him much but when I did, it was a good day. I met him thru my late friend and teacher Kenny Dail. RIP.

Oh no, I am so sad to hear this. I was thinking about Teddy the other day after getting off the phone with Teenie Chenault. Teddy was a great guy, one-of-a-kind, with a terrific sense of humor. We used to hang together a lot back in my Richmond days. R.I.P. old friend. Crying or Very sad

I got to know Teddy pretty well thanks to my late friend Kenny Dail. Teddy rode to St. Louis a couple of times with Kenny and me to attend Scotty's Convention. We used to tease him and tell him we liked hanging out with him 'cause when he was in the room we weren't the ugliest dudes there. I never heard him play it but Kenny told me that Teddy was also a fine fiddle player. Kenny had some old tapes of Teddy playing steel that I've heard but I never got to hear him play live.. RIP Teddy, we'll miss you.....JH in Va.
