That's Malcolm Rockwell's opus.

It's the definitive work on the topic. Many years in research and production.

Released maybe 10 or 12 years ago? I can't recall exactly.

The PDF format version is 1419 pages.

I'm not positive if it was released in traditional book form on paper.

Below is a random portion to give you an idea.

Is it worth $75? I suppose that depends on your level of interest. Probably not if you're obsessed with "A Way To Survive". Maybe yes if you know the difference between Jules Ah See and Jules Verne and realize that it wasn't Alvin Isaacs that recorded "Slowly" in 1952.

Is there any connection between Tau Moe and Moe Howard of The 3 Stooges? Between Gabby Hayes and Gabby Pahinui? Is it true that Reba is Dick McIntire's grand-daughter? If you are unsure, maybe it's not worth the money.

I think it was George Kamahele who authored a Hawaiian discography like this 40 or 50 years ago. I've never seen it and I don't know how it compares to Rockwell. As far as I know, Kamahele's book is long out of print and hard to find.
