Hi, this is probably a bit of a reach but I’m reaching out to the steel player and his
Wife who I met last night at the Sellersville Theatre. Drop me an email or IM. I embarrassingly misplaced the card you gave me somewhere during load out. Great talking with you guys. It’s always great to get to talk to a fellow steel player at a gig. !!!!

Hey Jim, thanks so much! Man this forum is great. Boom - got a response just like that.
Chip reached out and answered some of my questions about his GFI guitar. I’m looking to purchase a new (maybe used) guitar to fly. I absolutely love my ShoBud and would never part with it - but I don’t want to risk that guitar in a flight situation. I’ve seen some of the newer guitar builds and they are rock solid and seemingly less apt to be subject to the usual airline torture chamber. I’m also contemplating a single neck but not sure of that yet either- I think I’d miss the C6 too much. Who knows maybe it’s time to add a Universal to the arsenal. Thanks again. I hope we get back down to The Philadelphia area again soon. I will be playing at DelFest this year. Maybe we’ll see some Philly folks there. Eric
