| Any of you Revelation pre-amp users, what replacement tubes are you using for best overall sound and performance if you have replaced them? Thanks |

NOS RCA. I picked up a matching pair from early 1960's and I have a few other single NOS RCA's for the third tube.

Agreed! RCA's are special with pedal steel, very nice fidelity, super smooth, sweet, rich highs WITHOUT any hard or glassy edge. And the mids are very lush too.
And while it's nice to get NOS, you can also save money and find "used tests good" tubes that should be good for a lifetime. The key with any tube is to try to source ones that are low in microphonics.
