Super nice Marlen D-10 that is absolutely stunning! The cabinet is quarter sawn maple with cocobolo trim, 8 pedals,5 knee levers, Bill Lawerence 705 pickup on the E9th neck and a Bill Lawerence 805 on the C6th, serial number is 100280, this guitar was one of the last cabinets built by Leonard Stadler, assembly of all mechanicals was done by Mike Callaway. It's an awesome guitar for sure looking for a new home! Comes with the original tweed hardshell case These are getting hard to find! $2499.00 plus shipping and insurance

Is Mike Callaway still around, or still working on these guitars? Steve Black.

This Marlen here is NOT a "Pull-Release"system of early. It is a "All-Pull" that many now are used to. Cool thing is Leonard and Marvin designed this Changer and came out right around 1980 and it was the first mechanical part Patent.
Sounds Wonderful and VERY user friendly.

Yes, Mike is very healthy and looks like he did 20 years ago.

As a matter of fact: Elmer Ridenhour said, "go upstairs and speak with Mike". Mike said, "Jeff, this Lloyd Green Sho-Bud is exactly what you are looking for to play your Southern Gospel Music on. Both encouraged me so much in the beginning. (Elmer taught Wayne Newton) Two great men who loved to see people get their start in music.

Later when I purchased my Marlen D-10, I took it to Mike to go over it. Great work. I will never sell my Marlen. They are Great guitars with a rich sound. Whoever gets this one will be very happy I am sure!

Hey Erv, It's not that difficult if you're familiar somewhat with the workings and mechanics of the guitar. If your not sure how to do it we can change a guitar over for a fee.
