Beautiful, Susan. Well spoken and well played. When I saw your Thread Title my first thought was of Charlie Haden and the Liberation Music Orchestra and then as I read and listened, Pharaoh Sanders: ´Peace and Happiness for Every Man.´ Thank you. _________________ "For every expert, there is an equal and opposite expert." -- Arthur C. Susan,
Thanks for sharing your amazing performance, as always, your playing is transcendent and takes the pedal steel to another level, where it shares the stage with all of the other instruments that shape our musical world. _________________ http://jimfiegen.com |

Thank you Susan for introducing me to Vitali, who I'd never heard of. Quite apart from the rest of it - showing the world what this instrument can do even if it can't solve all the world's problems... _________________ Make sleeping dogs tell the truth!

I also loved the 'Guadalajara harp' at the beginning, setting the stage for the pieces. It calls up the Andes |

Eye opening...and humbling. That you've not only refined the execution but put in the work to dig to the roots and soul is rare. My answer to the question of where ideas I'm working with come from usually involves naming an album, missing the boat. Thanks for shaking things up, Susan. |
