I recently picked up this and the JD Aura pedal (see listing in amps and electronics) to see whether it would be a simpler/better system than my AT Pro 35 clip-on condenser. I can see the value of the Fishman system on a loud stage, but I don't have enough use for it right now to justify the investment.

The Gretsch Bobtail alone is a nice entry-level square-neck resonator This one is in excellent shape. (I would list it as "mint," but I bought it used.) Very nice reso sound played acoustically. To be fair, I find the sound of the Fishman pickup a little unbalanced, with the fourth string louder than the others. (A Forum search suggests this is a not-uncommon issue with this pickup.) I was able to balance it out using the recommended JD Aura pedal and eq-ing with a Fishman Loudbox amplifier.

Included is a hardshell case in very good condition inside and out. An extra $100 value.

$325 plus shipping

p.s. white marks on the lower back on the guitar in pic below was some dust. I forgot to reshoot the pic after wiping off the dust, but will be happy to take a pic and send it to confirm if anyone would like.
