If you don't know Dave Pearlman, builder of some pretty fine microphones, Dave is an exceptional musician with a 40+ year career playing with some greats (Dan Folgleberg anyone?) Here he is, filling some pretty big shoes, and nailing it.

A dream gig for any steel player of a certain age.

Would have been great to see Dave in those shoes! My wife & I did get to see the show the next night at the Coach House. Pretty fantastic.

So Dave, after working up those parts, what's your insight into Rusty's playing and style?

Caught the show this past Friday at the Troubodour. Steven is correct. Dave Pearlman nailed it. The whole second set was Richie and band with Dave doing all the POCO stuff.

I’m working on the post production for the video that was shot for this in a couple of weeks. Richie and I talked about adding steel to the show and both of us thought Dave was the right guy for the gig. Can’t wait to work on it!
