Country swing is not too far from jazz though.

I liked when both Joe and Roy soloed together.

Saw Joe in San Diego at the Catamaran. We had a rock gig in another room and there he was just being him.

Bill, interesting that you recently posted about the circle of 4ths, and how the topic drifted into chord substitutions and their appropriateness in various musical genres. These two guys do an awful lot with a simple 4 chord Hank tune, without sounding inappropriate or disrespectful.
