Thanks guys, it’s really beautiful and plays and sounds great. I love the straight peg “fender” style neck...so much easier to tune while standing.
I wonder why other square necks aren’t made this way?

It's probably due to aesthetics? My personal opinion is such.....
Pros.......much easier to tune.
Cons.......added length, not the norm as in it's not a Fender electric guitar, and not generally seen on a Dobro. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder......if you like it, that is all that counts. Not everybody likes chocolate ice cream.....that's why they make vanilla.

Nice, I did a 6 on a side about ten years ago and the customer really likes it. He had an extra big D28 case that fit the headstock okay. We just added extra padding around the body.
