Well I figured it is about time for me to release this video of my old pal Jack Heern at the 1994 Smoky Mountain Jamboree.
Jack truly was one of the great steel players of the era.

Thanks for that Bill. What's Jack up to these days? I remember one time in Lexington he walked in front of the steel players on stage laying cards on their steels that read:
"Turn up the _____ steel" Cracked me up.
He seemed to always be having a good time and yeah, I really enjoyed his playing too. |
