Well I figured it is about time for me to release this video of my old pal Jack Heern at the 1994 Smoky Mountain Jamboree.

Jack truly was one of the great steel players of the era.

I have never heard of Jack before but he is a good picker. Thanks Bill for posting all these videos.

Back in the day, Jack was also a player at a few of Scotty's non-convention functions.

Thanks for that Bill. What's Jack up to these days? I remember one time in Lexington he walked in front of the steel players on stage laying cards on their steels that read:
"Turn up the _____ steel" Exclamation Cracked me up.

He seemed to always be having a good time and yeah, I really enjoyed his playing too.
