I've got a BMI with a George L E-66 and I want to change it over to a Bill Lawrence L-705.

I'm pretty sure I need a wide mount but I'm not completely sure and hoping you guys can give me some advice.

I measured the opening and it is 4 in by 1 and 7 eighths of an inch. The mounting bolts are 2in apart on each side and one and three quarters of an inch front to back.

I attached a pic of the pickup I currently have installed.

Thanks!

-Nick

That's a standard wide mount pickup. You should have no
problem at all replacing it with the 705.
Chances are, you'll enjoy a better sound.

I didn't see one when looking for one for my Mullen SD12. Wylde pickups recommends an XR16 for those wanting a 705 12 string. But be careful is you have a narrow mount. I bought a narrow mount XR16 pickup for the Mullen, and the base plate is too wide and too long. I'm filing the sides down to fit, but the edge of the base plate has to be even with the sides of the pickup. This causes the pickup housing and base plate to separate. The ends also have to be filed down to fit
