Greetings... I am searching for Fretboard for an Emmons GS10 Student Model Pedal Steel. Preferrably an original metal, but open to anything that works and is the correct size. Must be in like new and/or really nice condition. If anyone should have one, I am interested in purchasing. Thanks

Randy,

I have brand new metal Emmons fret boards as well as a few nice used ones.

If you buy a new one (or a used one from a pro model) please be aware that you'll need to trim it down at the narrow end. The key head on the student model guitars don't have a neck relief pocket milled in them, so the fret board just butts up flush against it. The scale length is 24 1/4" so you need to me sure that the middle of the 12th fret is exactly 12 1/8" from the nut roller axle centerline.

Lynn has new original boards and as he wisely points out you would have to cut the keyhead end at a precise length. I think I would cut long and belt sand to length. It is hard to to cut clean without distortion.
I have the Tom Bradshaw Lexan boards that look identical to originals but can be cut with scissors. If you have a belt sander and patience you can fit the metal board easy enough.
I have some used Emmons boards also.
