Vintage 1947 Gibson BR-6 Lap Steel with original case SOLD

Here's a sweet vintage Gibson BR-6 lap steel from the 40's. Appears to be from 1947. Sounds and plays great. Both knobs seem to control volume, but both work. In nice shape, with some weather checking as usual. Plastic under the knobs has a few hairline cracks. Comes with the cool original chip case. $435 plus $49 Shipping to US addresses.

Nice but I think a â€˜47 should have a script logo.

Script logo should have been until 1946. This color scheme was only used in 46 and 47. So it should be a 47 then, according that logic. But it's Gibson, and one never truly knows! Smile
