A friend leant me his Carter but I don't have an all pull tuning wrench. IS this something I could get at a hardware store or is it pedal steel specific ?

Karen....those nylon hexagon tuners are 3/16 of an inch in diameter.....so a 3/16th dia nut driver from a local hardware store would work.....could probably find one at Wal-Mart. Do a Google Image search to see what one looks like.

If the 3/16 is too tight, take it back and try a 5mm. RP
