I recorded BEYOND THE REEF in 2015.

BEYOND THE REEF

I think this is a beautiful song, and I hope all will enjoy.

Of all the Hawaiian songs I play, I believe "Beyond
The Reef"
is my favorite. Very Happy

Thanks for the comment, Erv. It is one of my favorite Hawaiian songs also. We
seem to have similiar likes for steel guitar music. Maybe because we both grew
up in the earlier days of the electric steel?

C.E.,
I grew up earlier than that!
My first lap guitar was an acoustic Oahu.
My 2nd guitar was an electric Gibson.
I was playing that guitar on a Saturday morning radio show and there were some pictures taken after the program.

Erv, I thought you and I were about the same age. I am in my eighties, but didn't start
playing until 1949. My Dad played an old acoustic Kalamazoo (best memory), before
we got electric steels.

Here is a photo of me and my brother playing at a high school talent show in 1950.
We played Red River Valley, didn't win, but had a lot of fun.
