Looking to complete a 2 X 15 closed back speaker enclosure.

Need a decent 15" 8 ohm for guitar or steel.
Currently have a Peavey Black Widow that needs its mate.

In order to meet this project's budget, a ceramic speaker would be the most likely candidate.
Alnico or neo magnet speakers generally command too high a price to be viable.

As for power, the speaker should be minimum 75 watts

Thanks for your interest.

I have 2 JBL E130-8 in tilt back cabs.. probably not what you're looking for, for 2 of them would be really heavy in a single cab, but they're not bad split. lemme know if you want 'em. $450 in the cabs, and your not that far away..I also have a pair of BW's, but they're 4 ohm..

I have two JBL M 151-8 ohm speakers. They are the last musical instrument speakers that JBL made and advertised as being like the old D series. They are in excellent condition and have had very little use.

Dave,
This project is a single cab.
You're right, the e130s are the heaviest and just too much weight.

I have a pair of vintage JBL “James Lansing Signature” A130 magnets reconed with K130 kits, very sweet sounding, and I am in Portland so no need to ship them. $300 for the pair

They are currently listed with photos on Craigslist Portland
