The black is a factory finish, I'm not sure if it's paint or powder coat. The output on this pickup is 5k ohms, which for this technology is their higher output pickups. These ToneBar pickups are designed and intended for pedal steel guitars.
Edit: Just checked the Lace website, the pickups have a black anodized finish. |
