I guess that's one way to do it. Does it have a case?

I actually think is beautifully made. I've seen others designed along the same rotating principle, but nothing this advanced. The ad says it's a prototype for a failed business venture. Pity.

Craigslist ads aren't permanent, so I'm posting one of the images here for posterity.

For me, I'm not sure it has much advantage over my triple neck Stringmaster. With the rotating mechanism I wouldn't be surprised if it was as heavy or moreso, and still pretty bulky. Still, fascinating design! Maybe you could use it to keep the steel player on his toes by spinning it and he has to take a solo break on whatever tuning comes up! Very Happy

He's got a passel of them for sale on one of my FB groups. He prices them at $50 per string (IMO this is just a whimsical, flexible way of conveying a ballpark figure.)
I love the idea in a steampunk way and the execution looks pretty good (unlike other versions of these that have been posted for sale here that look like they were carved with a soup spoon).
