I purchased this square neck resonator a few months ago from same day music with the intention of playing. I’ve played it twice for 30 minutes so obviously I’m not going to play. It still has the original strings and looks just like when I received it. The corner on the nut near the tuning keys has a small chip on the corner and it’s how I received it. It isn’t cracked anywhere and isn’t in the groove for the string. I didn’t notice it for a few weeks and it doesn’t affect the guitar.
I will say that this thing sounds great and it projects sound very well and has great sustain. Much better than I expected when I bought it and I imagine it would be even better with new quality strings. I’m posting a link from musicians friend since apparently same day music doesn’t list the square neck right now. Asking $350 and I will pay half the shipping! I do not have a case for it but still have the original box and packing.
