Bought this to play with extended E9 tunings- originally a universal- all parts included to return to a U12.
The good- Carter's BCT technology, smooth quick and easy pedal/knee action, 7 pedals for any E9 changes you can think of, body is in between d10 and S10 size, George L 12 string pickup, can be returned to Universal 12, easy to work on. Currently set up as standard emmons E9, great standard carpet case.
The bad, or, the strange- I suspect this guitar was in a house fire. There's zero damage, perfect structural integrity, but while working on the undercarriage set-up, nose close to the body, it smells frankly 'smoked'. A deeper smell than cigarettes/cigars. There's also a small divet in the pickup casing, just cosmetic.
So, light-weight 12 string smoked Pro Carter for sal, Nashville pickup preferred, open to buyer funded shipping.
