Is it possible just one pickup post could go bad? Thought maybe it was a string. Changed it out no difference. it seams to be about half volume from the rest of the pickup.

Which string? Is the problem the same up and down the fretboard? Could be the pole magnet is cracked or has been demagnetized...somehow? Touching a paper-clip to the magnets, see if you can tell a significant difference between that pole, and the others on the pickup.

Thanks Donny.
The third AND second string pickup post have quite a bit less magnetic pull ( about half ).
" Ya hit it on the head ".
Replacement going in today.
Thank you.

You can "re-charge" magnets. Pulling a pole piece out stands a good chance of destroying a pickup. See here http://www.tdpri.com/threads/help-with-magnets-to-charge-a-pickup.461282/#post-5570088
