I do not see a proper thread to put this so move it if needed.

It looks as if I am going to have a Gibson Melody Maker ( 1965 I was told ) and and F hole sunburst ( guessing 40's - 50's era)and a Fender Super Reverb amp to sell .Also there is a fiddle made in 1863 ( Scotland if I remember correctly) However I need to get a value as to what they would be worth.

Anyone around Chattanooga are that does an honest appraisal as to condition and value ?

Gruhn Guitars in Nashville does appraisals and also sells vintage instruments on consignment. Elderly Instruments also sells on consignment. You would have to take some good pictures of your instruments and email them to either of the above unless you take your instruments to Gruhn's in Nashville in person. I have had good luck selling through Elderly. With good pictures, they will tell you over the phone what they expect your instrument to sell for, which amounts to a free, but not written appraisal. Elderly is in Michigan.

Sounds like a plan. Nobody likes to ship vintage tube amps.
Elderly will not ship vintage tube amps anymore because of too many damage problems and the high cost due to weight.
Good luck with your instruments.
