Do you use one? Which one? Vocal and/or steel? Pros? Cons? _________________ '70 D10 Black fatback Emmons PP, Hilton VP, BJS bars, Boss GE-7 for Dobro effect, Zoom MS50G, Flamma Reverb, Planet Wave cables, Quilter 202 Toneblock, Telonics 15” speaker.

fwiw..
I use the Shure PSM 300.
Not cheap. I get everything in my stage mix at living room (ie. comfortable) listening levels. I wear both earbuds.
No complaints. Happy camper.

Do you really need the wireless feature? An in ear system can be hardwired. You get somewhat better sound quality when hardwired, plus it's significantly cheaper. _________________ It don't mean a thing if it ain't got that swing. |

I too, use the Shure PSM 300, same as Howard mentioned...
I’m hard of hearing, and even though there’s a period of getting used to them, I don’t know I could play an acoustic-electric fiddle, in an all electric band, without them?
Yes, they can get expensive, but you can easily spend $500-$800 on a decent floor monitor. Invest in some lithium rechargeable batteries and an extra set of earbuds! Oh yeah, I’ve never experienced any feedback(yet). _________________ “TONESNOB†|

Audio Technica M2 - less expensive than the sure, been using for 3 years 2-4 nights a week, never a problem. |

I use a wired system from posseaudio.com that lets you mix in your own vocal & instrument to an existing mix, plus it has onboard room mics. I use it with Shure SE215's, entry level in-ears, but they work great. I can show you sometime! _________________ http://pedalsteelpodcast.wordpress.com |
