I just got a chance this weekend to use my Jay Ganz Straight Ahead power amps loaded in my Tommy Huff cabinets. All I can say is WOW. These power amps are very small, weigh less than one pound, and supply the power to blow the walls off. They really have some head room. They are 500 watts each and push my 1501-4 Black Widows in the theater we played at with no problem. Good clean power with a light weight speaker cabinet. These are great small amps guys, I don’t make a lot of recommendations, but I will on these amps and Jay Ganz is a really good guy to do business with.
If you want a small power amp with lots of clean power that you can drop in the back of a small cabinet like Tommy Huff makes, you can’t go wrong with this.
I will post a video this week demonstrating these power amps and cabinets.
