The TCE Helix is advertised as "True Bypass", but I get a low volume, high pitched whine out of it when it's turned off. If I remove it from the effects loop, the whine goes away.

Anyone else experiencing noise from the new crop of TCE "Toneprint" pedals?

Bob, I'm using both the Flashback 2 and the Hall of Fame 2 toneprint pedals and they are both dead quiet.

Bob, try it in a different location in the signal chain.

I had a digital pedal (drawing a blank on what it was) that gave off an electronic whine when turned off. It introduced electronic interference into the other pedals sharing the power supply daisy chain.

Have you tried the unit with a different amp, with different cords, or in a different location?

That might be what's happening here. I moved it to a different position in the pedal board and the noise got quieter.

It's not loud enough to be noticed on stage, but it would be awful in a recording studio.
