I am. I love the thick mids and smooth highs. It's the same amp as the 89', just half the wattage. Anything you hear from an 89' on YouTube will give you an idea... It's just an all-around great tube sound. It's very warm and pleasing to my ears (especially the highs- I'm picky about smooth, not-piercing highs). |

I just noticed your question on the other thread about whether the 59' can handle medium to loud gigs. The 59' packs a punch for 50 watts, but I don't really know- mine sits in a home studio for recording.
It definitely has plenty of power for small to medium-sized venues, but you might start running out of headroom if you want loud cleans for large venues. |

80 watt LW works pretty good.
Little Walter solves a lot of problems.
Cleaner lows nicer highs.
A black box helps with solid state edginess.
If you are playing in a really loud band it is hard to get a nice steel sound. Even with more horsepower. _________________ MSA 12 String E9th/B6th Universal.
