Hi,
Does anybody have a blueprint for a baffle board for a SF Twin Reverb with a 15†opening?
Offset like a Vibrosonic Reverb....

Olli, I centered mine, just need to clock the speaker where the transformer fits.
Ken Fox kindly shared a drawing several years ago of a 15" Twin baffle. |

Olli, this method allows different 15" speakers to be properly mounted. (This is assuming you have already removed the rear amp panels, and the old speaker and baffle.)
1) Leave the amp chassis in place, but unhook and remove the reverb tank/bag.
2) Mount the new baffle temporarily in place.
3) Lay the amp face down on the floor.
4) Temporarily and carefully position the new speaker where you can on the baffle, making sure there is ample clearance for both the frame and cone, and that the speaker isn't too close to the bottom or top of the new baffle. Mark all the mounting holes. (Note: Amp weight balance is usually best when the speaker is mounted slightly off-center, opposite the power transformer.)
5) Remove the speaker, and then remove the baffle. The center of the speaker hole may be determined by using a straightedge and drawing a line joining the opposite markings for the mounting holes. You can then use a compass or piece of string to mark the speaker hole.
6) Cut the speaker hole to the manufacturer's recommended size, and drill the mounting holes if you're using front-mounted hardware, and install the "T" nuts or screws to mount the speaker.
7) Install the grille cloth, and then remount the baffle in the cabinet.
8) Lay the amp face down again, and carefully place and mount the speaker on the baffle using appropriate hardware.
9) Set the amp up, and re-install the reverb unit, and hook it up, along with the speaker wires. Then you can re-install the back panels and you're done! |

Actually it was a center mounted Jbl in a Vibroverb. A smaller baffle. It was at the website below
