Does the 712 have the 4 wire setup, so I can wire a switch in to go from humbucker to single coil? Or is it the 705 (I think they make a 12 string version)? My all time favorite pickup is the 710.

My Mullen SD has a single coil (which sounds awesome), and I played a gig Sunday at a place that always has buzz (hum) problems, even with humbuckers (but not real bad). I had a buzz problem so loud, it equaled or surpassed my audio level. Sounded like I was playing through a real cheap, poorly made fuzz box cranked all the way up. This is the only place that is that bad. Moving my guitar a little didn't really help. We shut off the neon lights around us (except one about 10 feet to my right). Hum-X did nothing. The guitar player and bass player all had the same issues (all single coil pickups), but not as bad as me.
