The A6th Extended Tuning for 12 & 13 string Non-pedal steel
Lately I have been seeing and increased interest in my A6 extended tuning. Resulting in the recent sale of two of my hand crafted steel guitars in the last month. (June 2018)
So of course being a red Blooded American Capitali$t, I have decided to continue building and offering 12 and 13 string steel guitars made to your specs for ONLY $500.00 (actual shipping cost is extra)
Some exotic wood choices may cost extra, but all will be made of Hardwood and nicely hand finished.

Wonderful post, Dom. Great stuff. Thank you so much.
You might consider including your string gauges, maybe at the beginning or end of the matrix. You inspired me to try that tuning on my Bb13th tuned 12 string.
I'm wishing you success with those build. You have considerable experience so any buyer will be getting a quality instrument. |

Red Steel #23 with his younger brothers #25 and #26.
I am experimenting with different fret position markers for buyers who don't want to use my A6th extended tuning.
RECENTLY SOLD #22 it was a 12 string. #24 13 string SOLD locally and #25 is already *SALE PENDING* to an international buyer. I'm having fun.

I like my strings heavy and stiff, not loose and bendy under the bar, but you could use lighter gauges if you like. Any of these gauges could be adjusted +/- .002
especially if you have electric guitar strings on hand anyway. I try to use several different gauged 6 string sets to make up my 13 string guitar pitches. But I usually end up buying individual gauged strings to complete the set. _________________ https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCYG9cvwCPKuXpGofziPNieA/feed?activity_view=3 |
