It's beginning to look a lot like showtime at the Dancer Hall within the St. James Presbyterian Church at Jenks, Oklahoma.

Larry Jackson

Mike Harris furnished an awesome sound system over the weekend..

Now that the building is ready, it's dinner time.

Workers are getting ready for the crowd. Thanks Joe Wilson and Dearl Watson

Gary Strode and Phyllis Clark are getting the kitchen ready for the crowd.

Vivian Richards and Patsy Cox are ready to take your donation.

Don Lewis - Lead Guitar

Hayden Bramlett - Fiddle

Larry Jackson - Drums

Larry King - Bass

Roy Rosetta - Keyboard
Roy and Barbara were honored with the President Award at this year's Texas show. It is an honor to have them at our show again this year.

The players are getting tuned up in the jam room.

Beverly Harris kicked off the show on Friday morning.

Jerry Roller always gives a great performance.

Enjoyed your set, Jerry Foster

Michael Beasley is not only a good player, but a good singer.

Larry Garrett, another tip-top player and singer.

Rick Crow - always has a great selection, smashing sound, and is a well respected player

Bob Garret, another set enjoyed by the crowd.

Rick Eaves - it was a pleasure having you play again this year.

Janet Lynn Wise - a past "Texas Player of the Year." Wonderful player.

Clovis Richards - We so enjoyed your music.

Lee Ogle - We were glad to see Lee being able to play this year.

Jim McGinnis gave double steel pleasure with both non pedals AND pedals

Wayne Morton - President of our club always plays good music.

Jason Stilwell opened the show on Saturday. He not only played good music, but sang really well, too.

Tony Tipton - great job, Tony.

Now Paul King, you know how that OU fan feels about Texas. Paul not only played a couple of songs with Tony, but played a superb set later that afternoon.

Terry Canida - Thanks for the enjoyable music.

Beverly Harris with help from Andrea Turner, Karen White, Kenny Carter, and Kim Birdsong. Thanks for being with me.

Corky Davis - Unique, enjoyable, and great player

Ron Fredrickson - It was good to have you back on the stage again. Good job.

Mike McGee - I heard a comment from within the audience "It doesn't get any better than that." Thanks, Mike.

Marty Neer - not only did Marty give us his expertise on Saturday, but the previous Sunday at St. James Presbyterian. Marty also played a rare steel that everyone enjoyed.A deceased loved by all steel guitarist, Jim Clark, refinished 5 guitars and Marty played Steel Guitar Rag on one of them in honor and memory of Jim.

Jim Dreadfulwater - not only a player, but an entertainer.

Wayne Morton - Wayne accompanied a great little singer,Haylie. Wonderful set.

John Buffington - what a player!!

We had several singers bringing us some beautiful music.

Michael Beasley

Larry Garrett

Haylie Bagwell. Haylie opened the show for Bellamy Brothers at the age of 10 and since then, Gene Watson, Jack Greene, Johnny Lee, David Frizzell, Connie Smith, and more.....If you haven't heard her sing, Lord Willing, she'll be at the Oklahoma show next year. We LOVED her. Visit her facebook to find out more about her.

Clark Cox

Jason Stilwell

Mike McGee

Charlie Banning

Mr. Stilwell

Thanks to all the OSGA members who volunteered to help throughout the show.

Corky brought a delicious home made cake, Dearl made a wonderful pound cake,
Darlene made 3 melt in your mouth cakes, Ellen cooked apple and cherry pies that
were gone in a heartbeat. Beverly made some ice cream that enhanced peach
cobbler, pecan pie, and brownies. Members, thanks for the other foods that you
brought, the signs (Ed), Will's Emcee, cleaning, setting up and changing the stage
for each player...I can't even think of all the work that was done.
Gary and Phyllis served some chili dogs and Frito chili pies that were mighty tasty.
Barbara, Linda, and Marian gave them a break from the kitchen several times. Thanks gals.

Remember the one who was putting the Texas cap on Tony? Look who's wearing an OU cap!

Who says you have to be on a dance floor to learn the two-step?

Jim, exactly how did you manage that?

A friend from Ecuador.

Everyone missed having Mitzi and Buck Grantham at the show this year. We are all saying in picture "hello" or "missed you".

Thanks to all of you who attended our show this year, the St. James Presbyterian Church for sharing, and to the OSGA members for working, cooking, serving....
We hope to see everyone next year. God Bless.

All the comments, that I heard, were positive. Everyone liked the new location, the new Hotel Glenpool and their staff, got rave reviews, AND it was a financial success.

The only thing missing was Buck & Mitzi.

Everyone in the picture was supposed to be frowning. We just couldn't do it and think of Buck & Mitzi at the same time.

Thank you Beverly for all the pictures. I had a blast while there. I am glad you showed Tony Tipton in that Texas hat. Roy Rosetta and I give Tony a hard time about that. The location was fantastic and easy to find. I love to play but the fellowship makes it even better.

Too, i felt that the warmth of the fellowship was one that we hoped to experience. It seemed like such a good spirit among the crowd as well as players. You always play such good steel. Thank you two for being with us.
I was happy to post that "other" picture with one wearing an OU cap. LOL
One of these years, I'm going to think of a get back at Jason for that sign last year. I've got to think of a good one. You better look out, Jason.

I had forgot about me with the OU hat on my head. I came up with that idea putting the Texas hat on Tony since Roy Rosetta gives Tony a hard time about the OU hat. Tony and I had discussed doing this to see if Roy would fall off his chair laughing. It was all in good fun. Now concerning Jason Stillwell, he is a prankster as well. Maybe I can help you out on getting him back for the no shoes prank.

It was great to get to play the show this year. I have missed it the last couple of years. Thanks to the OSGA for the invite. Looking forward to the next one. A special thanks to the band, they worked hard and were ever so good with all the music. Every body did an outstanding job and the venue was top shelf. Thanks again for the spot you allowed me to fill. It was special !!!!! Great pictures of all.. Ron

Hopefully we get to come up this year. It looks like he's got lots of new "out of staters" playing. The crowd was great last year.

It appears even the guitar picker and drummer got a kick out of me putting the Texas hat on Tony Tipton. Those guys sure were smiling.

Well, congratulations, Madam President! (I've never pulled a prank on a president before... At least not a lady one. Not lately, anyway.)

Jason,
I think the "President" may have been the prank. But you know, it's like they say, behind every good woman is a good MAN. Mine, and the club members, and wives of the club members, too. Actually, we have a good CLUB.

I had a "little bird" hint that this was going to happen and I'm happy for you , supportive of you , and confident in the selection . This I know , you both work tirelessly on behalf of the Club ,

A special thanks and recognition of outgoing President Wayne Morton . He has given it his best effort and I appreciate and give honor to him .

Exciting days are ahead...congrats Beverly !!!!!!!

Thank you Larry. I sure do hope that I can do a good job. St. James put us on the calendar for June 21 and 22 of next year, so same time, same place for next year.
Lord Willing, as Mom always said.
