I was wondering where the best place to buy tolex (cost-wise)? I couldn't find any locally. I have a small case to cover and need less than a yard.

If there's a Hobby Lobby near you, they have vinyl. It's not Tolex, but it's pretty heavy duty vinyl. They are not any cheaper than anywhere else, but you may be able to get remnants or maybe a smaller quantity.

tubesandmore is hard to beat price wise, but besides Jack's links, there's parts-express: clickhere

I purchased some of the wine taurus tolex for my peavey deuce when I split the cabinets and I believe that I was able to do it with just 1 yard of material. the material is 54" wide, so a yd. goes a long way. I got it from tubes and more I believe.

I have some Tolex left over from refurbishing a Fender amp.
If you let me know how much you are needing and pay for the postage, I'll send you a chunk. Very Happy
