Jerry, hello. I think I missed something. Are you manufacturing pedals? Just curious because I'd like to experiment with some different pedals on my Emmons. I just don't have much money to play around with. Ron

sometimes. I have to come in on a Saturday to make them and I actually lose money by making pedals and not punching in. It is a labor of love so to speak.

not quite right yet. I cut one and compared it to the one you sent and it needed tweeking. Finished the tweeking and reprogrammed it but haven't cut one yet to check it. Will come in on Saturday hopefully and cut one, if it matches close enough I will make, how many do you need, I forgot? Here is the new upgrade, hard to tell the difference looking at it but it is different.

I am old school, don't carry a phone so no camera. Maybe Bob will take a few pictures and post them after he gets them. Do you use form taps for tapping threads?

I use form taps sometimes. Sounds like you've got a way to go to get to the shop...a commute like that would kill me!

The pedals are done, boxed and ready to ship. I will send them out Monday. You are getting one extra no charge. When I set up for the third op I forgot to change out the .242 drill for a .160 drill and the "oil" hole I drilled into the boss is .250 instead of .160. Pretty sure you can use it as is, if not, conversation piece for show and tell. There will be ten in the box, 8 good ones, the one with the big hole and yours.

lets wait and make sure they fit and work properly and then we will figure that out. We should probably donate something to the site or this would never have happened?

Anyone thought of Pedals for bare foot players?
I live in Asia where we don't have shoes in the house.
Gotten so used to playing with just socks, I now prefer it that way.

Pedals that are rounded over on the sides like Emmons & Promat are a lot more comfortable that way when rocking like on the A&B pedals.
My Mullen G2 has a very light touch on the pedals so it's not an issue, but some of my older steels hurt a little after playing a while.

I have no idea how many pickers out there play like this? Rolling Eyes Embarassed
Once used to it you have a much better feel for the pedal action.
Playing with shoes now seems to me like finger picking with leather gloves. Laughing

as far as pedals for bare feet, if yours are made of aluminum it is easy enough to take a file and round the edges yourself? I do it at work often enough.
