2018 OzSGA Branson June Jam Review

What a great Father's Day jam we had! We had 6 wonderful players: Mike Squires, Rick Eaves, Eddie Lane, Ron Erickson, David Dean White and Marlyse Stockinger.
Our band consisted of Dino Strunk(lead), Buddy Lewis(bass), Russ Burns(drums), and Mike Squires(fiddle).
We had a great attendance of 24, plus players & band.
We were blessed with an abundance of marvelous singers, including a few duets! First to sing was Doug Cole who came with Rick Eaves,
Next was Cathy Smeenk & Charlie Steichen, followed by Russ Burns,
Marlyse Stockinger, Ron & Opal Erickson, George Geisser, and Buddy Lewis.
Thanks to Charlie & Rosemary for organizing the jam (and giving me a ride).
Thanks to the players, band and singers who shared their love of music and steel guitar with us all today.
Thanks to Buddy Lewis for providing the sound system.
And to those who provided food for our break.
Thanks to the crowd for spending Father's Day with us.
A big thanks to the Stone Castle Hotel & Conv Center for the lovely venue, coffee, tea, water and accessories.
Our Super Event is just a few weeks away: July 27-29th and we hope everyone has made plans to attend as our line-up of players is outstanding.
Call Stone Castle Reservations 417-335-4700 because rooms are going fast! See you soon
