I just got done adjusting some pulls, guitar was overtuned on some pulls, and it needed little fine oil on a few spots, I also installed 1" lift kit which I will take off before shipping... I have to say this guitar is a true monster, it is a welded frame MCI, and the tone is great, and plays smooth and easy... it is more compact then some other guitars I have, so if it doesn't sell it may end up going to Europe with me in August... Smile

Just want to say and I have said it many times before, I’ve heard Buddy Emmons play many many times at the steel guitar conventions and I still think the best tone he had came from an MCI guitar and it was black. Must have been around 1990. Ron Elliot also played one and his tone was great.

Bobbe told me once MCI are best kept secret of pedal steel guitar world ... and when they first came out the word in pro circles was that it was the first all pull guitar that could compete with push pull Emmons tone wise...

this morning I hooked up my MCI to my Quilter Steelaire Pro just to make sure Quilter is working before I ship it to Europe so I can use it while I'm there ... I wasn't
expecting anything out of this world, since I am not a Quilter fan, and I just wanted a modern light weight amp to carry around while I am in Europe... however, I hooked up MCI to the Quilter and strummed over the strings, and I almost fell to the floor, what came out of that amp was tone I never know even existed , don't ask me why or how, I don't know... but this guitar through this amp sounds better then anything I have ever heard before in my life...or very close to it... not sure if its a guitar, or amp, or probably a combination of both... Quilter is on it's way to Europe as we speak, and MCI is going with me on the plane in August... b0b you can close this up please...thanks

Damir, you made the right choice, KEEP IT, that's what I did with my EMCI, I'll never part with it. The C6th neck is awesome, would you believe it sounds better than my Franklin.

Too bad these steels are no longer in production. Im not a huge guy, my EMCI fits me perfectly, it has a smaller cabinet than most steels, (excluding the Carter) It's a simple steel in design & construction, well made. For being 30+ years in age, it still looks new.

Probably will go to my grave with me.

yes, great tone, and very compact , user friendly, and super dependable...and yes, C6 neck blowed my socks off , I really wasn’t expecting that since like I said, I’m not big Quilter or George L fan, but I think I’ll be changing my mind soon lol...

Hi Damir those are awesome guitars. I have a EMCI welded D10 that I love. What I am needing is an EMCI decal and wanted to know if you have one or know someone that I could purchase one from? I have tried SGN but no luck. Thanks for any help that you give me.
