Dylan's Live In 1975 album is one I've always loved, but am now hearing with new ears as a steel player. After research I learned the steel player was David Mansfield. His playing is as frantic and loose as the energy of the performances, but his phrasing is great. Lots of tasteful and well timed parts. Hard to do with Dylan, live. I understand he's now a prolific session guy, and a multi instrumentalist. Don't hear his name thrown around much. |

I think he's a member here. Years ago I saw his name logged in. Roger McGuinn's "Cardiff Rose" features him and the Dylan band. You may want to check it out sometime. _________________ Fender Kingman, Sierra Crown D-10, Evans Amplifier, Soup Cube. |

I admit I'm easily frustrated. Why is there no reply from the OP? _________________ Fender Kingman, Sierra Crown D-10, Evans Amplifier, Soup Cube. |

He might have the pleasure and luxury of being away from his computer.
I just had five days offline: it was delightful. _________________ A banjo, like a pet monkey, seems like a good idea at first. |

Yes Brooks, sometimes it feels like an adiction. _________________ Fender Kingman, Sierra Crown D-10, Evans Amplifier, Soup Cube. |

Some people post just information randomly. He didn't ask a question of any kind - why *would* he reply, really? _________________ No chops, but great tone
