Ideally I'd like two but I'll take 1,2,3 or 4, whatever you want to sell me. My originals are adjustable aluminum legs with a 3/8"-16 thread on the end. Two of them have flaky clutches and one won't screw in flush to the mount. I'd just like to get something less questionable before I take it to a gig. I play standing so they need to adjust out to at least 36". Help me out if you can!

The one that won't screw in flush, just pound the end into the leg.
And I think you can buy clutch parts on the internet.
They should be the same as used on mic stands.

I would, but the problem with that one is that the stud must have broken and someone brazed it back on. The brazing won't allow the leg to screw in flush to the socket, which makes the leg really wobbly. I think my next plan is to pull that plug with a slide hammer, flush cut the stud, drill and tap the plug for 3/8"-16, run a bolt of that size up through it and pound it back into the leg. One of those jobs that should take about an hour but will probably wind up taking most of the day - if I don't ruin it. Rolling Eyes

Ennybuddy got a spare leg?

Bill,
I understand completely!
It seems like the Console Grandes were always a little wobbly.
I have a couple of 3 legged models where the leg goes in and you give it a little turn to lock it in, very wobbly.
I bought some flanges and legs from Gary Sill to take care of the problem.
You might want to check into this also. Very Happy
