Stu just sent me a copy of his CD "Emotionally Disturbed", and all I can say is wow...
I knew Stu was a musical cat, but I had no idea. He plays pretty much all the instruments - gtrs, keys, some of the bass, and steel.
Some very cool tunes covered, as well as some cool originals. It's not a steel CD per se...it's a really musical and enjoyable CD. Great instrumentation and some really nice guest vocalists on some of the tracks.
I've known Stu since the urban cowboy days in LA, and it's really nice to see an old pal put out such a cool CD.
My hat's off to you, Stu...

Actually, now that I think about it... I've known Stu since '76, when we were both playing a gig at a racetrack in Lewisville, TX. I was playing with Chris Hillman, and Stu was playing with... not sure who. Ray Wylie Hubbard, maybe?

I agree! Stu gave me a copy in November and I thoroughly enjoy it. Music runs through his veins.

Skip,And Mike,I'm embarrassed Thanks for the kindness,I met Skip when I was playing with the Late B.W.Stevenson at "Lewisville Tx"Home of the fighting farmers,The title"Emotionally Disturbed" comes from a 4th grade report card that the teacher wrote to my mom"Stuart stands up in the middle of class and starts screaming for no apparent reasonI think that he's Emotionally Disturbed"growing up in a city housing project will do that to a kid.
