I have one identical to this that I bought from Lynn Stafford around 2007....it's my understanding mine was built in 2004. I love it and someone will be getting a great guitar when they buy this one. |
Mike, at first I was very skeptical about the tone after I heard it was a reissue, but after I heard it I took it home with me right away... it just blowed me away with the tone, both C6 and E9 ... awesome sounding guitars indeed ... _________________ https://steelguitarsonline.com/ |

I believe I built that guitar. I found a stash of push pull bodies in the basement at Emmons that were never used for cosmetic reasons. Tom Lashley made them in the late 60's and they sat until I talked Little Ron to let me build a few. Bruce Troupe got the old blue prints and went to work making the parts. Same head, control panel and electronics as the LeGrande and same neck but with the tail cut short. They came out real nice. We made mostly S-10 models bud did make a couple of D-10 and one ST-10 as I recall. The aged bodies sure did seem to add to the tone. _________________ Emmons D-10, ST-10,LD-10 III, NV-112,Fender Deluxe Reverb. Authorized wholesale dealer musicorp.com! |

hi Doug, thank you for chiming in, yes that’s what I was told, there was only two made, probably two D10’s , and this one is supposedly one of those two... I don’t know why, but this guitar has an exceptional tone, even by the highest push pull standards ... _________________ https://steelguitarsonline.com/ |

There were more than two made, because I had two and the one you have for sale isn't one of them.
I had a blond D-10 that I wound up selling to FedEx after they damaged it in shipping.
As far as I know, it wound up in a FedEx warehouse in Utah.
The other one I still have.
