 . Picture of old Bigsby underneath look like it has adjustable bell cranks. Pretty cool

| I think it's an excellent solution and not too costly. Great how you can adjust the slack in the rod right there. |

Bump for question about Blanton bell crank how to keep screw from backing out when adjusting for sweet spot

Screw doesn't move up and down when rotated, the rod-attachment does. |

It may be a bigsby guitar, but its not a bigsby mechanism. Maybe Blankenship retrofit?

It looks like if/when the cable goes slack, the connector will fall off the post? |

That was on the Norm Hamlet Bigsby that was sold a couple of months ago by Chas Smith.
Not original Bigsby for sure, but I don't know who may have done it?

Looks to be a better and much more simple pulling system that the original.
It is a lot like the one Blankenship steel I've seen photos of.
However considering the value placed on those guitars these days it would be worth more if all original.
Maybe someone with more experience and actual knowledge of these old steels will pipe in with some actual facts as opposed to speculation?
