Does anyone know how to make them? My late friend James Morehead knew, but he passed before he could work on my guitar. I have a machinist and a welder friend, but need a design.

Here is what I used John, they are from a 6139 design but seem to work good on this guitar.

JK,
I gotta admit that it never has bothered me. Unoticeable really. I think it's in the way you play, Listen to early Lloyd. Can you tell?

So maybe we really we are making are Bell cranks look like Swiss cheese in vain I’ll ask David Jackson how they work that magic on so many old Sho Buds

Steelers weren't so picky in the old days.
I started out on a fingertip and it sure didn't bother me any. Very Happy
