It’s quite a guitar and it loves that blackface Pro Reverb in the photo above.

One of the most interesting threads I've seen. Thank you for taking the time to show such detail about the rebirth of this wonderful guitar. It was like I was watching the history channel.

So Mike- did you did the maple pedal stop, and if so what was the verdict?

Hi,

Yes, I did the hard maple pedal stop bar. I don't know if that is key or not but the guitar rings like a bell like the older ones. Is it the wood stop bar? Who knows. The main thing is the guitar sounds great and the owner is very pleased so its a win.
