I have no experience with this amp, but for $25 it should work well for keeping in the car with a beater lap steel. |

That's what I do with an old Studio Deluxe and a Cube Street. The Cube cost well north of twenty-five bucks (and so did the Fender), but they've been put to use more than once for impromptu pickin'. Great for the park or the beach or camping or whatever.
Be sure to let everyone know how your new amp works out. Hard to beat at that price. |

I have played this amp for a bit now and I am keeping it. Good clean channel. Distortion channel is passible if you are jamming and don't want to bring a pedal. I like it about as well as my old Roland Microcube if you figure it is 1/5 the price. Very light amp even with batteries. When I pick it up I think they forgot to put a woofer in it. I will use this at a restaurant gig when I play on the patio with my weissenborn copy or my Luna lap steel. If you are interested in this amp, remember the price changes daily. It is normally about $50 with shipping. If you watch and are not in a hurry, the amp will go on sale with free shipping for $25. However, it is worth the $50 if you need a battery powered amp ASAP and don't want to spend much money. |
