Do the mid controls cut/boost like a parametric EQ?
For a time I used a 4 channel para eq on our stage monitor mix. Was able to fine tune the range of problem frequencies, and keep the vocals sounding more natural.

looks like 2 knobs to cut and boost mids at specific frequencies. like the peavey amps have. i havent seen one in person yet but it looks like it could be great for steel guitar, esp when playing thru an amp with minimum mids controls. Wampler makes great stuff !

I had been waiting for the release of the Wampler but I noticed that one feature it lacked is a Q width control (which I cannot swear is of the utmost importance).
I ended up buying this WMD. I am undecided about whether I really need it and I am considering possibly selling it (I am in the middle of being both in a 'tone fine-tuning' mode and a 'simplify' mode at the same time. It's complicated.)

Brian's approach is getting useful adjustments, attenuation not just boost.

If one works these properly a pallet of tone-age is possible. You can boost or cut frequencies.

Watch Brian demo this pedal.
