I remember when I first heard this some 10 years ago. I took it straight to our band (at the time) and we did it the same night.

This is one of the last songs Johnny did and to my knowledge it was never recorded.

That's Jay Andrews on the pedal steel. I think this is one of the finest country-with-pedal-steel recordings ever made. We've been discussing this one for over 10 years, e.g.,
